President and Physical Therapist Keith Chan founded In Touch NYC in 2011 with one goal: To provide the personalized attention and treatments that every patient needs to heal. Since then, we have grown to four offices conveniently located throughout NYC, offering specialized methodologies and compassionate care that is tailored to every patient’s unique needs.
By incorporating Pilates and personal training with physical therapy, we can treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries, building whole-body health and enabling patients to achieve wellness and gain strength. We want to help you get on the path to health!

Keith Chan,
PT, CKTP
Keith Chan is a New York State licensed physical therapist, and he has been working with a wide variety of patients for over ten years. Keith attended Texas A&M University and completed his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at City University of New York (CUNY) Hunter College. He has over 10-years experience as a certified personal trainer accredited by NSCA and Cooper Institute and was a Tier 3 personal trainer in Equinox Health Club for over five years.
Beth Simoes,
MPT, CPI
Beth Simoes has over ten years of experience as a physical therapist and is New York State licensed. Beth completed her undergraduate degree at James Madison University, then went on to earn her Master’s degree at Hunter College, which is part of the City University of New York (CUNY). Beth has taken a variety of continuing education training including courses on the Maitland technique, sports injury rehabilitation, caring for pregnant patients and kinesiotape.
Al B. Abalo,
DTP
With over one decade of physical therapy experience, Dr. Al B. Abalo skillfully treats aches, pains, and injuries at KC Physical Therapy. She provides personalized, compassionate care in a welcoming environment that’s easily accessible in New York, New York. Dr. Abalo always makes herself available to patients, taking a hands-on approach to helping them maintain or regain peak physical function.
Hisham Senan,
PT, DPT, OCS
Hisham Senan has over ten years of experience as a physical therapist and is New York State licensed. Hisham completed his undergraduate degree at Cairo University, then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Dominican College in New York State, and now is studying Doctor of Science degree in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at Andrews University. Hisham has taken a variety of continuing education training including courses on the Mulligan Concept, Sports Injuries, Fascial Manipulation, Exercises Dosing and prescription, Intensive Orthopedic courses at NYU, Manual Therapy at NAIOMT, and Kinesiotape.
Freddy Alva,
Acupuncturist
Freddy Alva’s 15-plus years of experience in medical settings has given him the resources to utilize what works best at a given time for a particular person’s ailment. Whether it’s pain relief for chronic/acute conditions, stress management, fertility treatments, seasonal allergies or a wide range of internal issues; Alva Acupuncture can help treat the root of the problem thereby affecting the underlying symptoms.

Office Manager
Originally from Syracuse, Heather has lived in NYC For 8 years. She has a BA degree in Journalism/ Mass Communications from Saint Bonaventure University. With an administrative and consultative medical office background, Heather’s favorite part about working at In Touch NYC Physical Therapy is the patients. She strives to make every experience seamless.
